Terracotta Wall Sconce Planter - She's a Ranch style four bedrooms, three and one half bathroom house in the standard Spanish architecture of that region of the southwestern United States. Anyhow, she wrote to me saying that she was doing some decorating in 2 rooms of her house and was searching for a wall decorating ideas. Elizabeth went on further to say that the rooms that she was going to decorate would be the living room and the dining room. To make things simpler for me to understand about the decor and furniture already in these chambers, she sent me images of both of the chambers so I could study them attentively and make my ideas.
Almost instantly my ideas went to wall sconce candle holders. There are a few beautiful pieces that would add subtle charm to any nautical decoration. I started with the living room. Within this room, the carpeting is a moderate tan. There's a rather big overstuffed dark brown leather sofa, a red leather seat and a fabric seat in a southwestern pattern of reds, yellows, greens, and golds. Surrounded by the sofa and chairs is a large square marble coffee table in a medium dark brown marble swirl. There is an adobe fireplace in the wall corner in the shape of a cone using the larger portion of the cone on the bottom, tapering up the corner of the wall.
This fireplace is a medium brown with artful scrolls in dark brown accenting the opening of the fireplace, the big black ring and the upper half of the cone going up the wall corner. To the left of the fireplace are windows and a sliding glass door overlooking the desert and hills in the background. On the right side of the fireplace is a wall using two big unframed Native American oil paintings, one on top of the opposite. This is because of the absence of wall area because there is a massive oak entertainment centre covering the majority of the wall area.
This is all I had to see. I immediately went to work and found a couple wall sconce candle holders which would complete this room. My options were the Varazze Wall Sconce, the Leyanna Mosaic Wall Sconce, the Belleville Wall Sconce or the Meyda Scrolling Wall Sconce. Any one of these wall sconce candle holders would add an awesome feel to Elizabeth's dwelling room.Next, I took a peek at the images of Elizabeth's dining room. The floor in this room is walnut. In the center of the room is a rustic looking big oak dining room table sitting on a large southwestern style woven carpet. Round the table are ten oak chairs with ox blood colored cushioned leather backs and seats.
There's a big American Indian wall tapestry on the wall opposite the outer wall of the room. Below the tapestry is a long buffet cabinet which matches the table and seats. The outer wall has two quite big windows with colorful southwestern window treatments. The wall area in between the two big windows is a boulder fireplace going up the whole wall. It took me only a couple of minutes before I had any excellent hints for wall sconce candle holders on each side of the tapestry. I came up with three wall sconce candle holders which would enhance the overall look of the room. Any of them would add a warm feeling to the room.
