Progress Lighting Black Wall Sconce - She's a Ranch style four bedrooms, three and one half bathroom home in the typical Spanish architecture of that area of the southwestern United States. Anyway, she wrote to me saying that she was doing some decorating in 2 rooms of her home and was looking for a wall decorating suggestions. Elizabeth went on further to state that the rooms that she was going to decorate are the living room and the dining room. To make matters easier for me to know in regards to this decor and furniture already in those chambers, she sent me pictures of both of those chambers so that I could study them attentively and make my suggestions.
Almost instantly my thoughts went to wall sconce candle holders. There are a few gorgeous pieces that would add subtle allure to any southwestern decor. I began with the living room. In this room, the carpeting is a medium tan. There is a rather large overstuffed dark brown leather couch, a red leather seat and a fabric seat in a southwestern pattern of reds, yellows, greens, and golds. Surrounded by the couch and chairs is a sizable square marble coffee table in a medium dark brown marble swirl. That is an adobe fireplace in the wall corner in the shape of a cone using the larger portion of this cone on the bottom, tapering up the corner of this wall.
This fireplace is a medium brown with artful scrolls in dark brown accenting the opening of the fireplace, the large black mantle and the upper half of this cone going up the wall corner. On the left of the fireplace are windows and a sliding glass door overlooking the desert and mountains in the backdrop. On the ideal side of this fireplace is a wall using two large unframed Native American oil paintings, one on top of the other. This is due to the lack of wall area since there is a large oak entertainment centre covering the majority of the wall area.
This is all I needed to see. I immediately went to work and found several wall sconce candle holders that would complete this room. My options were the Varazze Wall Sconce, the Leyanna Mosaic Wall Sconce, the Belleville Wall Sconce or the Meyda Scrolling Wall Sconce. Any one of those wall sconce candle holders would add an awesome feel to Elizabeth's living room.Next, I took a look at the pictures of Elizabeth's dining room. The flooring in this room is oak. At the middle of the room is a rustic looking large oak dining room table sitting on a sizable southwestern style woven rug. Around the table are ten oak chairs with ox blood colored cushioned leather backs and seats.
Beneath the tapestry is a long buffet cabinet that matches the dining table and chairs. The outer wall has two quite large windows with colorful southwestern window treatments. The wall area in between the two large windows is a boulder fireplace going up the whole wall. It took me only a few minutes before I had any great hints for wall sconce candle holders on both sides of this tapestry. These options were the Crossed Arrow Western Wall Sconce Pair, the Rustic Essence Wall Sconce, along with the Essence Round Sconce Pair. Any of these would add a warm atmosphere to the room.
