Shell Candle Wall Sconce - Elizabeth lives in Mesa, Arizona. She's a Ranch style four bedrooms, three and one half bathroom house in the typical Spanish structure of that area of the southwestern United States. Anyhow, she wrote to me saying that she had been doing some decorating in two rooms of her house and was searching for some wall decorating ideas. Elizabeth proceeded further to state that the rooms that she had been going to decorate are the living area and the dining area. To make things simpler for me to know in regards to this decor and furniture already in those chambers, she sent me images of both of the chambers so that I could study them carefully and make my ideas.
Almost immediately my thoughts went to wall sconce candle holders. There are a few gorgeous pieces that would add subtle charm to any southwestern decor. I began with the living area. In this area, the carpeting is a medium tan. There's a rather large overstuffed dark brown leather couch, a red leather seat and a fabric seat in a southwestern design of reds, yellows, greens, and golds. Surrounded by the couch and chairs is a sizable square marble coffee table at a medium dark brown marble swirl. That is an adobe fireplace at the wall corner in the shape of a cone using the larger part of this cone on the bottom, tapering up the corner of this wall.
On the left of the fireplace are windows and a sliding glass door overlooking the desert and hills in the background. On the right side of this fireplace is a wall using two large unframed Native American oil paintings, one on top of the opposite. This is due to the absence of wall area because there is a massive oak entertainment center covering the majority of the wall area.
That is all I needed to see. I instantly went to work and found several wall sconce candle holders which would finish this room. Any one of those wall sconce candle holders would add an amazing sense to Elizabeth's dwelling room.Next, I took a look at the images of Elizabeth's dining area. The flooring in this area is oak. At the center of the room is a rustic appearing large oak dining room table sitting on a sizable southwestern style woven rug. Around the table are just ten oak chairs with ox blood colored padded leather backs and seats.
There's a large American Indian wall tapestry on the wall opposite the outer wall of this room. Below the tapestry is a lengthy buffet cabinet which matches the table and chairs. The outside wall has two quite large windows with vibrant southwestern window treatments. The wall area in between the two large windows is a boulder fireplace moving up the entire wall. It took me only a few minutes before I had some great suggestions for wall sconce candle holders on both sides of this tapestry. I came up with three wall sconce candle holders which would improve the total look of the room. These choices were the Crossed Arrow Western Wall Sconce Pair, the Rustic Essence Wall Sconce, and the Essence Round Sconce Pair. Any of them would add a warm atmosphere to the room.
