Gas Electric Wall Sconce - She has a Ranch style four bedrooms, three and one half bath home in the typical Spanish structure of that region of the southwestern United States. Anyway, she wrote to me saying that she had been doing some decorating in two rooms of her home and was searching for a wall decorating ideas. Elizabeth went on further to say that the rooms that she had been going to decorate would be the living room and the dining room. To make matters simpler for me to understand in regards to the decor and furniture already in those rooms, she sent me images of both of those rooms so I could study them carefully and make my ideas.
Almost immediately my ideas went to wall sconce candle holders. There are some beautiful pieces that could add subtle charm to any southwestern decor. I started with the living room. Within this room, the carpet is a moderate tan. There is a rather large overstuffed dark brown leather couch, a red leather seat and a fabric seat in a southwestern pattern of reds, yellows, greens, and golds. Surrounded by the couch and chairs is a sizable square marble coffee table at a medium dark brown marble swirl. That is an adobe fireplace at the wall corner in the shape of a cone using the larger portion of the cone on the floor, tapering up the corner of the wall.
This fireplace is a medium brown with artful scrolls in dark brown accenting the opening of the fireplace, the large black ring and the upper half of the cone going up the wall corner. On the left of the fireplace are windows and a sliding glass door overlooking the desert and mountains in the background. On the ideal side of the fireplace is a wall using just two large unframed Native American oil paintings, one on top of the other. This is because of the lack of wall area since there is a large oak entertainment center covering the majority of the wall area.
This is all I had to see. I immediately went to work and discovered a couple wall sconce candle holders which could complete this space. My choices were the Varazze Wall Sconce, the Leyanna Mosaic Wall Sconce, the Belleville Wall Sconce or the Meyda Scrolling Wall Sconce. Any one of those wall sconce candle holders could add an amazing sense to Elizabeth's dwelling room.Next, I took a look at the images of Elizabeth's dining room. The flooring in this room is oak. At the middle of the space is a rustic looking large oak dining room table sitting on a sizable southwestern style woven rug. Round the table are just ten oak chairs with ox blood colored padded leather backs and seats.
Beneath the tapestry is a long buffet cabinet which matches the table and chairs. The outside wall has two quite large windows with colorful southwestern window treatments. The wall area in between the two large windows is a boulder fireplace going up the whole wall. It took me just a few minutes before I had some great suggestions for wall sconce candle holders on both sides of the tapestry. Any of them would add a warm atmosphere to the space.
