Geneva Polished Nickel Wall Sconce - Elizabeth resides in Mesa, Arizona. She's a Ranch style four bedrooms, three and one half bathroom home in the typical Spanish architecture of that area of the southwestern United States. Anyway, she wrote to me saying that she had been doing some decorating in 2 rooms of her home and was looking for a wall decorating ideas. Elizabeth proceeded further to state that the rooms that she had been about to decorate would be the living area and the dining area. To make matters simpler for me to understand in regards to this decor and furniture already in these rooms, she sent me images of both of those rooms so that I could study them carefully and make my ideas.
Almost immediately my ideas went to wall sconce candle holders. There are a few gorgeous pieces that could add subtle charm to any southwestern decor. I began with the living area. In this area, the carpet is a medium tan. There's a rather big overstuffed dark brown leather sofa, a red leather seat and a fabric seat in a southwestern pattern of reds, yellows, greens, and golds. Surrounded by the sofa and chairs is a large square marble coffee table in a medium dark brown marble swirl. That is an adobe fireplace in the wall corner in the shape of a cone with the larger portion of this cone on the floor, tapering up the corner of this wall.
To the left of the fireplace are windows and a sliding glass door overlooking the desert and mountains in the background. On the ideal side of this fireplace is a wall with just two big unframed Native American oil paintings, one on top of the other. This is due to the lack of wall area since there's a massive oak entertainment centre covering most of the wall area.
That is all I had to see. I immediately went to work and found a couple wall sconce candle holders that could complete this room. Any one of these wall sconce candle holders could add an awesome feel to Elizabeth's living room.Next, I took a peek at the images of Elizabeth's dining area. The floor in this area is oak. At the middle of the room is a rustic looking big oak dining room table sitting on a large southwestern style woven carpet. Around the table are ten bamboo seats with ox blood colored cushioned leather backs and seats.
There's a big American Indian wall tapestry on the wall opposite the outer wall of this room. Below the tapestry is a lengthy buffet cabinet that matches the dining table and seats. The outer wall has two quite big windows with vibrant southwestern window treatments. The wall area in between the two big windows is a boulder fireplace going up the whole wall. It took me only a couple of minutes before I had any excellent suggestions for wall sconce candle holders on both sides of this tapestry. Any of these would add a warm atmosphere to the room.
