Venetian Mirror Candle Wall Sconce - She's a Ranch style four bedrooms, three and a half bath home in the typical Spanish structure of the region of the southwestern United States. Anyway, she wrote to me stating that she was doing some decorating in two rooms of her home and was searching for a wall decorating ideas. Elizabeth went on further to say that the rooms that she was about to decorate would be the living room and the dining room. To make things easier for me to know about the decor and furniture already in those chambers, she sent me images of both of those chambers so that I could study them carefully and make my ideas.
Almost immediately my thoughts went to wall sconce candle holders. There are a few beautiful pieces that could add subtle charm to any southwestern decor. I started with the living room. In this room, the carpeting is a medium tan. There's a rather big overstuffed dark brown leather couch, a red leather chair and a fabric chair in a southwestern pattern of reds, yellows, greens, and golds. Surrounded by the couch and chairs is a large square marble coffee table in a medium dark brown marble swirl. There is an adobe fireplace in the wall corner in the shape of a cone using the larger portion of the cone on the floor, tapering up the corner of the wall.
This fireplace is a medium brown with artful scrolls in dark brown accenting the opening of the fireplace, the big black ring and the upper half of the cone going up the wall corner. On the left of the fireplace are windows and a sliding glass door overlooking the desert and hills in the background. On the ideal side of the fireplace is a wall using just two big unframed Native American oil paintings, one on top of the other. This is because of the lack of wall area since there is a large oak entertainment center covering most of the wall area.
This is all I had to see. I immediately went to work and discovered several wall sconce candle holders that could finish this space. My options were the Varazze Wall Sconce, the Leyanna Mosaic Wall Sconce, the Belleville Wall Sconce and also the Meyda Scrolling Wall Sconce. Any one of those wall sconce candle holders could add an awesome feel to Elizabeth's dwelling room.Next, I took a peek at the images of Elizabeth's dining room. The floor in this room is oak. At the middle of the space is a rustic looking big oak dining room table sitting on a large southwestern style woven rug. Around the table are just ten oak chairs with ox blood colored padded leather backs and seats.
Beneath the tapestry is a lengthy buffet cabinet that matches the table and chairs. The outside wall has two quite big windows with colorful southwestern window treatments. The wall area in between the two big windows is a boulder fireplace going up the entire wall. It took me just a couple of minutes before I had some excellent suggestions for wall sconce candle holders on each side of the tapestry. Any of them would add a warm feeling to the space.
