Cottage Style Candle Wall Sconces - She has a Ranch style four bedrooms, three and a half bathroom home in the typical Spanish structure of that area of the southwestern United States. Anyway, she wrote to me saying that she was doing some decorating in two rooms of her home and was searching for a wall decorating suggestions. Elizabeth proceeded further to state that the rooms that she was about to decorate are the living room and the dining room. To make things simpler for me to understand about this decor and furniture already in these chambers, she sent me images of both of those chambers so I could study them attentively and make my suggestions.
Almost instantly my ideas moved to wall sconce candle holders. There are a few gorgeous pieces that would add subtle charm to any southwestern decor. I began with the living room. In this room, the carpeting is a medium tan. There is a rather large overstuffed dark brown leather sofa, a red leather seat and a cloth seat in a southwestern design of reds, yellows, greens, and golds. Surrounded by the sofa and chairs is a sizable square marble coffee table in a medium dark brown marble swirl. That is an adobe fireplace in the wall corner in the form of a cone using the bigger portion of this cone on the floor, tapering up the corner of this wall.
This fireplace is a medium brown with artful scrolls in dark brown accenting the opening of the fireplace, the large black mantle and the top half of this cone going up the wall corner. To the left of the fireplace are windows and a sliding glass door overlooking the desert and hills in the background. On the right side of this fireplace is a wall using just two large unframed Native American oil paintings, one on top of the opposite. This is because of the absence of wall space since there is a large oak entertainment centre covering most of the wall space.
That is all I had to see. I instantly went to work and discovered several wall sconce candle holders which would complete this room. Any one of these wall sconce candle holders would add an awesome feel to Elizabeth's living room.Next, I took a peek at the images of Elizabeth's dining room. The floor in this room is oak. At the center of the room is a rustic appearing large oak dining room table sitting on a sizable southwestern style woven rug. Around the table are ten bamboo seats with ox blood colored cushioned leather backs and seats.
Beneath the tapestry is a long buffet cabinet which matches the dining table and chairs. The outside wall has two rather large windows with vibrant southwestern window treatments. The wall space in between the two large windows is a boulder fireplace going up the whole wall. It took me just a couple of minutes before I had any excellent suggestions for wall sconce candle holders on both sides of this tapestry. These options were the Crossed Arrow Western Wall Sconce Pair, the Rustic Essence Wall Sconce, along with the Essence Round Sconce Pair. Any of these would add a warm atmosphere to the room.
