Sonneman Ultra Slim Wall Sconce - She has a Ranch style four bedrooms, three and one half bathroom home in the standard Spanish architecture of that area of the southwestern United States. Anyway, she wrote to me saying that she was doing some decorating in 2 rooms of her home and was searching for some wall decorating suggestions. Elizabeth went on further to state that the rooms that she was about to decorate would be the living area and the dining area. To make things easier for me to know about this decor and furniture already in those chambers, she sent me images of both of those chambers so that I could study them carefully and make my suggestions.
Almost immediately my ideas moved to wall sconce candle holders. There are some beautiful pieces that could add subtle allure to any southwestern decor. I began with the living area. Within this area, the carpet is a moderate tan. There is a rather big overstuffed dark brown leather sofa, a red leather chair and a cloth chair in a southwestern design of reds, yellows, greens, and golds. Surrounded by the sofa and chairs is a sizable square marble coffee table at a medium dark brown marble swirl. There is an adobe fireplace at the wall corner in the shape of a cone with the bigger portion of this cone on the bottom, tapering up the corner of this wall.
This fireplace is a medium brown with artful scrolls in dark brown accenting the opening of the fireplace, the big black ring and the upper half of this cone moving up the wall corner. On the left of the fireplace are windows and a sliding glass door overlooking the desert and hills in the backdrop. On the right side of this fireplace is a wall with two big unframed Native American oil paintings, one on top of the opposite. This is because of the absence of wall area because there is a massive oak entertainment centre covering the majority of the wall area.
That is all I had to see. I immediately went to work and discovered several wall sconce candle holders that could finish this room. My choices were the Varazze Wall Sconce, the Leyanna Mosaic Wall Sconce, the Belleville Wall Sconce or the Meyda Scrolling Wall Sconce. Any one of those wall sconce candle holders could include an awesome feel to Elizabeth's dwelling room.Next, I took a look at the images of Elizabeth's dining area. The floor in this area is walnut. In the center of the room is a rustic appearing big oak dining room table sitting on a sizable southwestern style woven rug. Round the table are just ten bamboo seats with ox blood colored padded leather backs and seats.
There is a big American Indian wall tapestry on the wall opposite the outer wall of this room. Below the tapestry is a long buffet cabinet that matches the dining table and seats. The outside wall has two quite big windows with vibrant southwestern window treatments. The wall area in between the two big windows is a boulder fireplace moving up the whole wall. It took me only a couple of minutes before I had some excellent suggestions for wall sconce candle holders on each side of this tapestry. I came up with three wall sconce candle holders that could enhance the total appearance of the room. These choices were the Crossed Arrow Western Wall Sconce Pair, the Rustic Essence Wall Sconce, and the Copper Round Sconce Pair. Any of these would include a warm atmosphere to the room.
