Vertical Wall Sconce Lighting - She's a Ranch style four bedrooms, three and a half bathroom home in the typical Spanish architecture of the region of the southwestern United States. Anyhow, she wrote to me saying that she was doing some decorating in two rooms of her home and was looking for a wall decorating ideas. Elizabeth went on further to say that the rooms that she was about to decorate would be the living area and the dining area. To make matters simpler for me to understand in regards to the decor and furniture already in these chambers, she sent me images of both of those chambers so I could study them attentively and make my ideas.
Almost immediately my thoughts moved to wall sconce candle holders. There are some gorgeous pieces that would add subtle allure to any southwestern decor. I began with the living area. In this area, the carpeting is a medium tan. There is a rather big overstuffed dark brown leather sofa, a red leather seat and a fabric seat in a southwestern pattern of reds, yellows, greens, and golds. Surrounded by the sofa and chairs is a large square marble coffee table in a medium dark brown marble swirl. That is an adobe fireplace in the wall corner in the form of a cone using the larger portion of the cone on the bottom, tapering up the corner of the wall.
This fireplace is a medium brown with artful scrolls in dark brown accenting the opening of the fireplace, the big black ring and the top half of the cone going up the wall corner. To the left of the fireplace are windows and a sliding glass door overlooking the desert and mountains in the backdrop. On the ideal side of the fireplace is a wall using two big unframed Native American oil paintings, one on top of the opposite. This is due to the lack of wall space since there is a massive oak entertainment center covering the majority of the wall space.
This is all I needed to see. I immediately went to work and found a couple wall sconce candle holders that would finish this room. Any one of these wall sconce candle holders would include an amazing feel to Elizabeth's dwelling room.Next, I took a look at the images of Elizabeth's dining area. The flooring in this area is walnut. In the center of the room is a rustic appearing big oak dining room table sitting on a large southwestern style woven rug. Around the table are just ten bamboo seats with ox blood colored padded leather backs and seats.
Beneath the tapestry is a long buffet cabinet that matches the table and chairs. The outside wall has two rather big windows with colorful southwestern window treatments. The wall space in between the two big windows is a boulder fireplace going up the whole wall. It took me just a couple of minutes before I had some great hints for wall sconce candle holders on both sides of the tapestry. I came up with three wall sconce candle holders that would improve the overall look of the room. Any of these would include a warm atmosphere to the room.
