Wall Sconce Decorating Ideas - Elizabeth resides in Mesa, Arizona. She has a Ranch style four bedrooms, three and one half bathroom house in the typical Spanish structure of the area of the southwestern United States. Anyway, she wrote to me stating that she had been doing some decorating in two rooms of her house and was looking for some wall decorating ideas. Elizabeth went on further to state that the rooms that she had been about to decorate are the living area and the dining area. To make matters easier for me to understand about this decor and furniture already in those rooms, she sent me pictures of both of the rooms so that I could study them attentively and make my ideas.
Almost immediately my thoughts moved to wall sconce candle holders. There are a few gorgeous pieces that would add subtle charm to any nautical decoration. I began with the living area. In this area, the carpet is a medium tan. There's a rather big overstuffed dark brown leather couch, a red leather seat and a cloth seat in a southwestern pattern of reds, yellows, greens, and golds. Surrounded by the couch and chairs is a large square marble coffee table in a medium dark brown marble swirl. There is an adobe fireplace in the wall corner in the shape of a cone using the bigger part of this cone on the floor, tapering up the corner of this wall.
This fireplace is a medium brown with artful scrolls in dark brown accenting the opening of the fireplace, the big black mantle and the upper half of this cone going up the wall corner. To the left of the fireplace are windows and a sliding glass door overlooking the desert and hills in the backdrop. On the right side of this fireplace is a wall using just two big unframed Native American oil paintings, one on top of the opposite. This is due to the absence of wall space because there is a massive oak entertainment center covering the majority of the wall space.
That is all I needed to see. I immediately went to work and discovered a couple wall sconce candle holders which would complete this space. My options were the Varazze Wall Sconce, the Leyanna Mosaic Wall Sconce, the Belleville Wall Sconce and also the Meyda Scrolling Wall Sconce. Any one of those wall sconce candle holders would add an awesome feel to Elizabeth's dwelling room.Next, I took a look at the pictures of Elizabeth's dining area. The flooring in this area is walnut. In the middle of the space is a rustic appearing big oak dining room table sitting on a large southwestern style woven carpet. Round the table are ten bamboo seats with ox blood colored padded leather backs and seats.
There's a big American Indian wall tapestry on the wall opposite the outer wall of this space. Beneath the tapestry is a long buffet cabinet which matches the dining table and chairs. The outside wall has two rather big windows with vibrant southwestern window treatments. The wall space in between the two big windows is a boulder fireplace going up the whole wall. It took me just a few minutes before I had any excellent suggestions for wall sconce candle holders on both sides of this tapestry. I came up with three wall sconce candle holders which would improve the overall appearance of the room. Any of them would add a warm feeling to the space.
